Let the games begin!
Throughout the week students will have an opportunity to engage in a variety of traditional and non traditional sports. Students will engage in golf, fencing, tennis, lacrosse, double dutch, jump rope, track, basketball, soccer, kickball, handball, box ball slap ball, and gator ball.
During the entire day we bridge the academic gap created during the summer months through activities. However, in the morning we have a Town Hall meeting, a camp meditation, and academic support. Students receive tutorial support, handle summer academic packets, or do silent and sustained reading.
The Academic Zone is an education through sports, the arts, and science program established in 2007 by four educators.
Curious and Creative
Around 2:00 p.m. each day students participate in the arts and sciences. Some of the activities are dance, violin, trumpet, engineering, robotics, aviation, and arts and crafts.
